Meet Lynn Hancock, Owner of Always Best Care – Serving Metro Richmond West

After graduating from Virginia Tech and receiving her MBA from VCU, Lynn Hancock enjoyed two decades of corporate sales and management experience. In 2009 she decided to become the owner of an Always Best Care Senior Services franchise to make a difference in the lives of older adults. Lynn quickly submersed herself into local organizations focused on bettering the lives of senior citizens. She is a member of Partners in Health Care and has served on the board of the National Aging In Place council of Central Virginia. Lynn also is a volunteer speaker for the Alzheimer’s Association and is on the 2013 Walk to End Alzheimer’s planning committee. In 2012, she was involved in organizing and launching the RVA Better Aging Forum, a monthly educational series for anyone working with seniors in the Richmond Metropolitan area.

Her clients range from folks needing a few hours a week helping with household tasks to seniors in need of 24/7 round the clock assistance. She works with families to plan the move of loved ones to assisted living and takes pride in knowing that she helps successfully match seniors with a new home.

Lynn often presents a program called “Navigating Long Term Care Options –Finding The Right Fit” and will discusses the many in-home care and assisted living in Richmond VA facility options, costs and levels of care available when long term care becomes a need.
