Meet the Team

Shane Carpenter

After spending 33 years in the flooring industry, Shane decided to lay the groundwork for establishing a different vision for his retirement – following his true passion to help others. In 2017, the Southlake/ Denton branch of Always Best Care was born.

Since that time, Shane has helped hundreds of seniors in the community be able to age-in-place in the safety and comfort of his own homes. For him, each client and employee becomes a member of his own family. He hopes to continue to serve those around him for years to come.

Outside of the office, Shane enjoys spending time with his family and friends, as well as traveling.

“From everyone at Always Best Care, we thank you for the privilege of being able to care for you and your loved ones.”

Matthew Brockett

Director of Operations/ Alt-Administrator

A graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology, Matthew has always had a passion for people. Growing up in a family of law enforcement, he might have been expected to follow suit, but he found a different path that allowed him to help those around him. In 2018, Matthew joined the Always Best Care team as a Care Coordinator.

Since that time, he has grown personally and professionally and is now the Director of Operations. He is proud to serve alongside the office and caregiving staff in promoting the highest level of care possible.

In his spare time, Matthew trains for sprint triathlons and loves to go on adventures with his fiancé – Jacy.
