Meet the Team
Joanne Pizzuto is originally from Brooklyn, New York and relocated to North Carolina over 29 years ago. That is where she began working in health care field. She has more than 25 years of experience working with seniors in a variety of settings. Joanne’s knowledge in the senior industry comes from varies roles at assisted living communities and long-term care facilities. In 2011, Joanne decided to change her direction to a more rewarding position, where she felt she had a purpose and that she could grow as an individual; that is when she opened the Always Best Care in Burlington, North Carolina. Joanne has now shifter her services into the greater Winston Salem Market. In this endeavor she has now involved her and two sisters and best friends Gina and Andrea. In Joanne’s spare time she loves to travel, sing Karaoke, spend time with her family and especially love to spoil her four grandsons.
Gina Ward has lived in NC since 1993. Her warm and caring nature is an extension of the family values she learned as a child growing up in Brooklyn, New York. Gina has a very strong background in the finance world with over 30 years of experience in various accounting roles. In 2017, Gina took her first leap as an entrepreneur with her husband in their very successful home inspection company. In her free time, she enjoys traveling to the beach, relaxing by the pool or taking a ride to the mountains on the back of her husband’s motorcycle. Most of all, she loves spending time making memories with her grandchildren.
Andrea Allegretto and her husband have enjoyed calling North Carolina home for the last 26 years along with their three children and little dog Jessie. She has been inspiring health and wellness over the last 29 years in a career path that focused on taking care of others by putting their needs first. In her free time, she enjoys creating travel adventures for her family and finding unique beaches that she can relax and dip her toes in the sand. Andrea also loves to step away for some heated Yoga and if she can talk one of her children into joining her, then even better.
I grew up in Raleigh, NC and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a BS degree in Marketing. I am married with two sons and have been living in Winston-Salem for the past 22 years. I have held various positions over the years specializing in customer service, leadership, and marketing. The past four years I have served our senior community in marketing services for senior adults. Most recently working in senior living placement and helping clients find the right fit for their long term care needs. I provide one on one support to seniors and their families as they navigate options for senior living placement. My goal is to assess each client and provide them the best choices based on their care level needs and finances.
