Meet the Team
Owner & Agency Director
Stephanie and her husband, Dan, started Always Best Care Senior Services in 2009. Originally from Eastern Kentucky, Stephanie has lived the majority of her life in North Carolina, including 16 years in Wake Forest. After graduating with an accounting degree from Wake Forest University, she spent 20 years in public and corporate accounting before deciding what she wanted to do when she grew up. Her passion for helping seniors and their families navigate senior living options is apparent when you meet with her, and she believes all her clients should know all their options so they can make educated decisions. In 2017, she was awarded the ABC Placement Award of the Year.
When she isn’t helping her clients, Stephanie enjoys watching movies and WFU sports with her husband and spending time with their two teenage daughters and adult son.
Wanda is originally from East Tennessee, but has lived 24 years in Wake Forest. Wanda graduated from East Tennessee State University, with a degree in accounting, and has spent 40+ years in accounting and supervisory positions in public accounting, retail, manufacturing and telecommunications. She met Dan and Stephanie 24 years ago, when they worked in the same Accounting department, and has maintained a close relationship with them, resulting in her position with Always Best Care in 2011. Wanda and her husband, Al, have 2 children, who also live in NC, and have blessed them with 5 awesome grandchildren — 3 boys and 2 girls, ages 2-12.
When not working with ABC, Wanda and Al enjoy watching movies, playing golf, going to the beach, visiting the Smith family in Goldsboro, NC and visiting their amazing grandchildren.
