Samantha Loy is the owner of Always Best Care of Alamance-Guilford. She is a graduate of University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Samantha’s has been involved in the senior care industry since 2012 starting as an intern for Always Best Care of Alamance-Guilford. She naturally immersed herself with in her work to establishing a strong network within the local healthcare industry. Samantha has always had passion for helping others and being able to carry on the family business, is something she takes great pride in.
Samantha and her husband Jason are the proud parents of two boys, Carter & Anderson. In their spare time, they enjoy going to local parks and fishing at their neighborhood pond.
John is originally from Long Island, New York and currently resides in Greensboro, NC
John has more than 11 years of experience working with seniors in a variety of settings. John’s previous role before joining the Always Best Care family, specialized in downsizing and relocating seniors to senior community, organizing and so that they can stay safely in their home, or assisting with estate liquidations.
In his spare time, he enjoys traveling with his girlfriend, Amanda.
Vannessa Brammer grew up in the Burlington area and graduated from Walter Williams High school. After caring for numerous family members and friends, Vannessa decided to purse a career in nursing in 2003. Vannessa graduated from Alamance Community College in 2007 with a degree in nursing. She has worked in the Neuroscience Department at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington; since returning to Burlington as a Hospice nurse in 2009.
In her spare time, she remolding her home and spending time with her family.
Jodi Kern is from Bellville, Ohio. She has several years of experience working in the healthcare field as a CNA, MA, Scheduler, and On Call Coordinator. Her passion for helping others has allowed her to be compassionate and dedicated towards helping the senior community .
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, camping, and going to sporting events with her husband and four boys.
Jason Loy is originally from Graham, NC. After graduating from Southern High School he persuaded a degree in Sociology from UNC Charlotte. Jason has previous experienced in retail management and also working in the banking industry.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and going to basketball games.
Community Relations Coordinator-Chapel Hill/Durham
Channing is a native of Alamance County and a recent graduate of University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where she majored in Social Science. Channing has a passion to work with those who are in of need assistance. Channing would like to continue to dedicate her time to educate the community on different senior resources.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and dogs. She loves traveling to the beach or the mountains with her family.
Mallory Idavoy is originally from South West Florida and moved to North Carolina in 2017. She is a graduate of Edison State College and has over 5 years’ experience working with seniors in home care as a CNA, scheduler, HR Recruiter and manager.
In her spare time, she enjoys teaching dance classes and being outdoors with her dogs.
Lauren is a native of Alamance County where she graduated from Walter M. Williams High School. Later, she moved to Greenville, NC and graduated from Pitt Community College, where she received her Associates Degree in Nursing. Before joining the Always Best Care staff, Lauren worked as a registered nurse in the Medical Oncology Department at Duke University Hospital. Lauren has the compassion and dedication necessary in helping others and is always concerned with making all clients’ health and safety her number one priority. She plans to bring these qualities to Always Best Care in her role as a nursing supervisor.
Lauren is extremely family oriented. At home, her focus is on her fiancé, Ken, his two boys, Jacob and James, and their three fur babies Bentley, Maci Grace and Valkyrie.
