Monica Bailey

Director of Non-Medical Services

Inspired by the kindness and compassion she saw in caregivers, Monica began work in the field in 1997 as a companion caregiver. She then earned her HHA and CNA, ultimately managing other care professionals. Her extensive field experience includes work with dementia, Alzheimer’s, and Geri-Psych patients.

Monica is the primary contact for our clients and serves as a liaison between our clients and caregiver staff. She is in contact with caregivers, clients, and family members, and regular evaluates client care needs and interactions between the clients and caregivers. Additionally, she spearheads the Always Best Care continuing education for our caregiver staff to ensure our clients receive the most up to date and effective care.

Kimberley Deleon

Director of Staffing and Scheduling

Kim is an enthusiastic and innovative professional with extensive experience in event coordinating, administrative assistance and also has 5 years’ experience working as a passionate caregiver herself. Her experience with Alzheimer’s & Dementia make her a great asset to our team. Kim also served as an assistant in the planning of daily activities for assisted living/memory unit with over 140 residents. Her knowledge, passion and experience in the field has been outstanding. She is determined to place the best caregivers to the care that we are providing for their loved ones.

Kim is a young mother of a handsome seven-year-old boy who attends first grade at Saint Bridget’s School.

Mary Anne Weaver

Geriatric Care Manager and Care Coordinator

Mary Anne has a long history of social work in a variety of settings including homes, schools, hospitals and various inpatient living facilities. A licensed social worker, her clients have spanned the full age spectrum, from children to the elderly, and she has interfaced with various agencies, schools, hospitals and facilities on their behalf. She coordinates and supervises services for clients.

In her role as Geriatric Care Manager at Always Best Care Metro West, Mary Anne provides assessments and evaluations for home care. She works with families to ascertain physical, emotional social and intellectual needs of the older adult. Mary Anne determines the best plan designed to enable the older adult to remain in their home. Mary Anne also works with families when placement in an assisted living facility is the desired or appropriate next step.

Viviane Shanad

Director of Billing and Payroll

Viviane Shinad joined the Always Best Care Metro West team in December 2017 as the Director of Billing and Payroll. She studied French language and literature in Alexandria, Egypt where she is originally from. After she immigrated to the US in 2006, she received a degree in Education in 2010 and graduated from Umass Lowell with an MBA degree in Finance in 2013. Viviane has over 5 years of experience working in medical billing and in accounting in different industries. She lives with her husband and their two wonderful kids. Viviane is hardworking, attentive to details and reliable. She is always looking for ways to learn to become more efficient and improve work processes and procedures. As the Director of Billing and Payroll, she makes sure her work is accurate and that both clients and caregivers receive the best service satisfied. She believes an important part of everyone’s job is to treat others they come across with fairness, respect and kindness.

Nidia Lopez

Human Resources Assistant

Nidia is a courteous, and diligent health science student with experience in an administrative capacity who joins our team at Always Best Care as a Human Resources Assistant. Although young, she has worked in an assisted living setting alongside caregivers, nurses, and others for the past 5 years. Keeping in mind the families trying to find care for their loved ones, Nidia enjoys facilitating the hiring of our carefully selected caregivers.

When she’s not working or at school studying radiologic technology, she loves taking road trips and finding adventures anywhere along the way.

Michelle E. Caron, DNP, RNC,

Registered Nurse

Michelle Caron is a registered nurse who began her career by working as a junior aide helping the nurses at a local community hospital, Symmes Hospital in Arlington MA. As her love of patient care grew, she studied nursing at Northeastern University earning a Bachelor of Science in nursing in 1987. At this time, she worked in the acute care setting at local area hospitals, and then became a nurse manager and educator at Winchester Hospital, Winchester, MA.

As her family grew she always remained in nursing working in homecare and per diem positions to remain current and to grow within the profession. She studied dementia and Alzheimer’s and hence began support groups in the area as an Alzheimer’s expert and support provider. Her career path then changed as she went into the realm of public health nursing and community education. Michelle worked with the disabled population and taught both clients and family members how to become more healthy and active. In 2002, studied Forensic nursing and earned a Master of Science in nursing from the University of Fitchburg, Fitchburg, MA. This specialty steered her into the area of community health, geriatric care and home health care. At this time, she also gained the Legal Nurse certification and worked with attorneys and public health officials on medical legal cases.

In 2013 she entered the Doctoral Program at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst MA gaining a doctoral degree in Public Health nursing in 2016. This area of study and experience has led her to a career as a public health expert and community educator.

Michelle currently lives in Acton Ma, with her family. She has a love of exercise, reading and travel.
