Owner & Care Coordinator
David Robinson is the owner of Always Best Care of Greater Boston. He is a graduate of Denver University and resides in Belmont, Massachusetts. Prior to founding Always Best Care in 2009, David spent over 20 years as an owner of several successful recruiting agencies in the medical staffing industry.
David is the proud father of his son Luke and daughter Monique. His interests include playing ice hockey, hiking and skiing.
Director of Client Care
Kathy is a graduate of Westfield State University, and currently resides in Reading, Massachusetts. She has more than twenty-five years of experience working with seniors in a variety of settings. These settings include, but are by no means limited to, independent and assisted living communities, continuing care retirement communities (CCRCs), and long term care facilities. Kathy also has a past history of working at a hospice agency. Her philosophy is that all of our clients should be taken care of as if they were our family members.
In her free time, Kathy enjoys traveling, skiing, and reading.
BETH RATHBONE R.N., B.S.N.
Nurse Case Manager
Beth is a graduate of The University of Massachusetts, Boston where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
In her over 22 years of professional Nursing experience, she has worked in both in an acute care setting and in throughout the community as well. She is dedicated to supporting the client in the most independent setting possible. Her philosophy is that each client be treated like family, with kindness, dignity and compassion.
Beth is a Mom to 2 Sons and a Daughter. She enjoys reading, cooking and playing with her English Bulldog “Dottie”.
T. MONICA SMITH
Director of Staffing, CNA
A graduate of the American Red Cross Nurse Assistant Program, Tameka has over ten years of experience providing care to the elderly. Her previous work experience as a Case Manager also allowed her to take on the responsibility of supportive services for individuals with disabilities. She believes that everyone, no matter what challenges or barriers they may face in life, deserves a chance at any goal they want to obtain.
Tameka is a loving mother to three sons. In her spare time, she enjoys being with her kids and listening to music.
Krystle is currently pursuing a degree in Human Services with plans to become an LSW. She was born and raised in Cambridge, Massachusetts, but currently resides in Waltham.
For the past three years she has helped to manage and grow a small, independently owned optometry office. Now, Krystle is hoping to focus on something she has always been passionate about – helping others.
In her spare time, Krystle teaches dance, enjoys reading, and spending time with friends and family.
ROLDYNE PIERRE LOUIS
Director of Finance
Roldyne is a graduate of Bridgewater State University, majoring in Accounting & Finance with a minor in Math. She was born and raised in Haiti, but moved to the U.S at the age of nine. She resides in Burlington, Massachusetts.
Roldyne is quite involved in her church and spends much of her free time doing volunteer work around campus. She also enjoys spending time with loved ones, cooking, trying out new restaurants, traveling, and running in order to maintain a well-balanced life.
Human Resource Manager
Stacey, a local Belmont resident, is a graduate of American University, where she received a BA in both Psychology and Communications. Her professional history is varied, but possesses the common thread of cultivating meaningful and lasting relationships. Stacey has lived in several countries around the globe, including Ghana, Africa and the West Indies. Her experiences in each location over the years allow her to relate to people of diverse backgrounds and, therefore, to recruit some of the finest and most devoted caregivers for our company.
Stacey is a mother of two school-aged boys. In her free time, she loves traveling, spending time outdoors, and practicing yoga.
Office Support Manager
Julie served in the military for a total of 3 years; 2 years as a food culinary specialist, and 1 year in the administration office in Fort Lewis, Washington. She was raised in Waltham, Massachusetts and currently resides in Lowell. She has always enjoyed helping others out and is a mother of a young son. In her spare time, she likes to sit down and teach him new things and to prepare him for school. She believes in living life to the fullest and focusing on the positive.
Director of Community Relations
Having held Executive Director and Marketing Director positions for over forty years, Louise’s experience working with long-term care, congregate care, assisted living, and independent living brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion when it comes to understanding the individual care needs of our clients. She is dedicated to the mission of providing supportive services and housing to all persons in need.
Louise has also served as a volunteer with the Framingham Meals Program, the South Shore Women’s Center Domestic Abuse Hotline, and on the First Parish Medfield Pastoral Care Team. In May 2016, she participated in her 22nd Project Bread Walk for Hunger.
In her spare time she enjoys traveling, cycling, hiking, gardening, sewing, reading, and spoiling her four grandchildren.
Payroll & Human Resource Assistant
Marina recently earned her MBA in Human Resources from Endicott College. She was born in Belarus and came to the U.S. at age 6, learning to speak both English and Russian fluently. Her passion has always been to work in a field that involves being around people since she finds it easy and enjoyable to relate to and communicate with others. Having natural compassion, empathy and a desire to help others, Marina came to Always Best Care to be in an environment where she could put all of these qualities to great use.
When she is not working, Marina enjoys spending time with friends, family, and pets, as well as traveling abroad.
Director of Business Development
Janice is a graduate of University of Massachusetts with a B.A. in Psychology. A Greater Boston native she resides in Lexington, Massachusetts. Her background going on 30 years has been in the Healthcare field; consisting of Pharmaceuticals, Hospice, Home Care and the Long-term care community industry. Her goal is to foster positive professional relationships and partnerships with Hospitals, Senior Centers, Geriatric Care Managers, Assisted Living, Independent Living, CCRC (Continuing Care Retirement Community) or Memory Care to ultimately help seniors improve their quality of life.
Janice has a daughter and 2 Cavalier King Charles spaniels. Some of the things she enjoys doing are reading, genealogy, cooking, Home Staging, spending time with friends, family and of course her dogs.
Lambchop, a Schnauzer/Poodle hybrid, is a trained therapy dog and a valued member of the Always Best Care team. Lambchop and his owner, David Robinson, regularly visit seniors in and around Boston. Call us today for a free visit!
