Marti Burke Settle
Director of Operations
Marti has been in the healthcare field for 12 years.
Being the Director of Operations, Marti stays very busy keeping the office running smoothly. Marti has been with Always Best Care the longest and knows all the ins and outs of our company. She goes to extra lengths to satisfy our clients with her personal touch.
When Marti is not in the office or working from home, she enjoys spending time repurposing furniture, hanging out with her grandson, Walker, and cheering on her husband, Brian, on the racetrack.
Jennifer is the Staffing Coordinator at Always Best Care Shreveport. She dedicates her time to ensure our clients are paired with the best caregivers.
Jennifer was born in New Orleans, raised in Monroe and as of 2004 planted her roots in Benton, La. She is raising her two daughters in this small town that she loves and calls home. Jennifer enjoys the outdoors, going to the lake but most of all is an avid hunter.
Jennifer has worked in the medical field since 1999 and helping people is her passion. She is excited to be a part of the Always Best Care Team. She is dedicated to making our clients comfortable with their caregivers and making lasting relationships.
Sandy Wilcher moved to Shreveport/Bossier City area after graduating high school in South Louisiana. She has worked in the medical field for over twenty years. Sandy worked alongside physicians who specialized in pain management and internal medicine.
Sandy shares her life with Ronn, her husband of 35 years and their teacup yorkie “Delta”.
As our Care Coordinator, Sandy goes out to meet with our clients and works with Jennifer (our Staffing Coordinator) to match them with one of our professional caregivers.

KK is a lifelong Louisiana resident. Living most of her life in Minden, then moving to Shreveport after marrying Robert “Bubba” Birmingham in 1989. They moved to Haughton in 1995 and still reside as members of the Haughton community. Together they raised two children, Adler who is married to Britny and has two children of their own, and Elise who is an actress on the local stage and plans to further her career on a bigger scale.
As Administrative Assistant, KK answers the phone, assists Marti (Our Director of Operations), and keeps the office running smoothly.

Chelsea Cutlip is a graduate of Louisiana Tech University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Marketing and Consumer Studies. She has worked in marketing, business development and public relations in the Shreveport/Bossier area for several years.
She resides in Arcadia, Louisiana with her husband, Matthew and their three year old son, Walker.
Chelsea enjoys staying active in her church and community, reading, traveling and being a mother.
Director of Business Relations
Over his career Michael has been as a Project Manager for multiple enterprise software implementations, consulted with numerous governmental entities and businesses on efficiency of operation and software selection, advised business owners on growth strategies and worked with businesses supporting and servicing the Assisted Living and Nursing Home industry.
Michael is also affiliated with Helping Hand Technologies, L.L.C. HHT, in conjunction with Pennington Biomedical Research Center developed TK3, an on-line Assessment and Reporting Tool to monitor changes in Cognition, Mood and Mobility. Originally designed for the Independent and Assisted Living market, TK3 is also a useful tool for anyone concerned about a family history of cognitive disease or simply wanting to monitor their cognitive abilities as they age.
At Always Best Care, Michael is responsible for retaining existing client relationships, creating new relationships and partnerships and marketing TK3.
Michael earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Centenary College of Louisiana and a Master’s Degree from Louisiana Tech University. He has served on the Shreveport City Council since 2010. When away from work he enjoys running, being outdoors, cooking, travel and involvement in various community organizations including: Krewe of Gemini, Shreveport Regional Arts Council and Red River Revel.
