John, Wendy, & Danielle


John, Wendy, and Danielle started this business as a result of their experience as a family with Home Care. As a family, we saw a real need to provide a trustworthy resource in the senior community. John ran and owned Service Oil Company for over 30 years, Wendy has been a caregiver her entire life, and Danielle has worked in the Adult and Children’s protective service field for 8 years. This is a journey we wanted to take as a family, so we could offer families support, resources, and the compassionate care in their time of need. We are blessed to be in the senior community and to work alongside all of the great community senior resources.

Administrative Coordinator

My Name is Sheila Wright, I am the Administrative Coordinator at Always Best Care. I have worked in Home Care for many years, I love that I am allowed to serve our Seniors and help them to a place of independence in their own homes. The conversations and joy that it brings to them and myself is priceless. Their libraries are filled with so much wisdom, understanding and simplicity. My husband and I are parents to 4 amazing grown children and grandparents to 4 young boys also, a few fur grand puppies. We enjoy time with our rescue pets Wolfgang and Sheba.

Taysha Gipson

Lead Scheduler

My name is Taysha Gipson and I am the Lead Scheduler at Always Best Care Michiana. I have been working in the medical field for over ten years. I began as a billing and patient financial services representative and eventually progressed to the office manager of a Federally Qualified Health Care Center. I have an Associate degree in Pre-law and Communication from Goshen College; and I am currently working towards obtaining my BS in Health Information Management from
Indiana Tech. I am excited to work for Always Best Care Michiana and appreciate the care and services that they provide for the Senior Citizen community. I am passionate about making a difference in the life of others and look forward to working with the clients and caregivers at Always Best Care Michiana.

Scheduling Coordinator

My Name is Stephenie Kramer, I am a scheduling Coordinator at Always Best Care. In-home care is where my heart is. I pride myself on making great client and care matches and making sure the needs of others meet. I have worked in-home care services since 2012 and some time working in a facility. Seeing how these two worlds collide, I’m happy to offer my experience and expertise. I am so ecstatic to give my skills to the ABC family and cannot wait to make a difference in the life of those we serve.

Client Service Coordinator

My name is Stephanie Stevens, and I am a Client Service Coordinator at Always Best Care-Michiana. I have been in the Healthcare Field for several years now, both in a facility and HomeCare setting. It has been my pleasure to get to know and care for all my clients over the years. There is so much to be gained in caring for seniors, and there is no better feeling at the end of the day than knowing you helped people, and honestly made an impact on their life. I truly empathize and sympathize with clients that have lost their abilities to do things on their own they way they used to. It is that sympathy and that empathy that drives me to want to go above and beyond for my clients, and ensure them the best care possible: and I pride myself in doing so. Additionally, I am a mother of two very handsome men, a mother-in-law to my favorite daughter-in-law, and a “MiMi” to my precious granddaughter, Brayleigh. I also enjoy spending time with my miniature Schnauzer, PeeWee.

My name is Patricia Spagnola, I am the Lead Caregiver Mentor/Client Service Coordinator at Always Best Care. I’ve worked in the medical field and have been a CNA for 16 years. I live and stand by “treat others how I would like to be treated” It’s my pleasure and passion to care, serve and protect our seniors in our community and surrounding areas as well as educate, train and be a support system for caregivers on our team as well as our clients and their families. I have six kids and two fur babies, and I enjoy spending time with my family outside of work.

Community Liaison

My name is Patti Vandergrift and I am the Community Liaison for Always Best Care Michiana. I have worked in the healthcare field for several years. I most recently served as Director of Business Development for a Long Term Acute Care Hospital. I received my BS in Business Management from Bethel College and my Masters in Public Affairs with a Health Care Concentration from Indiana University. My hobbies include camping, traveling, scrapbooking, and going to the beach. One of my greatest joys is spending time with my husband, children and grandchildren.

My name is Stacey Thompson, I am the Recruiter at Always Best Care. I have been working in the medical industry for about 8 years. It brings a big smile to my face when I find a great Caregiver to fulfill the needs of our clients and to watch them build lasting relationships. When I am not in the office, you can usually find me cheering on my daughter on a softball field or spending time my family and our two dogs. I am so very excited to be apart of the Always Best Care team and look forward to making a difference for our Caregivers and Clients.

R.N. Skills Trainer

My name is Erika Campbell and I am the new RN Skills Trainer. I attended IUSB after high school but quit because I was married, working full time and raising a new baby. I returned to nursing school twenty-five years later and graduated from Southwestern College with my ADN and then Indiana Wesleyan with my BSN. I worked at Memorial Hospital as a floor nurse for 5 years on the Cardiac/Stroke floor and have also worked as case manager for a home care company. I love working for a company that helps clients to remain in their homes and feel that it is a privilege for us to be invited into their lives. I am passionate about teaching and ensuring that our caregivers have the knowledge they need to care for our clients.

My name is Terri Grabill. My magic number is two; I have twin sons who are successful young men on their own adventure, two wonderful daughters-in-law, two grandchildren and two fur babies. My career has led me into several different directions along the way landing on accounting and management years ago utilizing my accounting degree from IUSB. I enjoy reading, being creative and history. I’m looking forward to working with Always Best Care Michiana and making a difference in people’s lives.
