Always Best Care O’ahu is a locally owned and operated in-home care provider. The owner, Tyler Kimura, was born and raised here in Honolulu and has a life-long passion for helping others. As a true kama’aina, Tyler knows the importance of living and breathing the “aloha spirit”.

Tyler is passionate about providing the highest level of care for our beloved kūpuna (seniors). Tyler’s generosity stems back to his childhood, raised with the belief that giving is better than receiving.

As a proud graduate of Kaimukī High School and the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa (B.A. Biology), Tyler has flourished in the community by building successful businesses, creating jobs and affordable housing while providing the highest level of service to his clients. He is also certified with the State of Hawaii as a Nurse Assistant (C.N.A.).

Tyler experienced first-hand the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of the elderly and chronically ill as he spent a lot of time at hospitals during his younger years. His mom and dad never had an opportunity to meet their 4 grandchildren as they both passed away early, in their 50’s and 60’s, due to chronic illnesses.

Rest assured that Tyler is an honest, hard-working, hands-on business owner who cares much more about his clients and employees than about his bottom line. He will always be accessible to you, 7 days a week, when you need him the most. He will personally see to it that all your concerns are addressed in a timely manner. His vision is also shared by his caregivers who are meticulously selected to ensure our clients are treated with the highest level of care, dignity, respect, professionalism and most importantly, “aloha”. They are well trained with a specific set of skills that will cater to your needs. We consider our clients ‘ohana (family). Always Best Care O’ahu is a locally owned and operated in-home care provider. The Vice-President of Sales & Marketing, Marcus Inamine, was born and raised here in Honolulu and has a life-long passion for sales and customer service.

Marcus is determined about providing the highest level of sales, engagement and care for our beloved kūpuna (seniors). He was a caregiver to his Grandma Yae and believes in helping people to take care of their loved ones.

As a proud graduate of Kaiser High School and paying for his own tuition for the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa (B.B.A. Marketing/Management), Marcus has a lot of experience in sales and marketing for different industries along with customer service. With more than 20 years of Sales & Marketing and Food & Beverage experience, he has heard a lot of amazing stories and situations. So he would love to hear yours and see how we can be of assistance for your loved one.

You can be certain that Marcus is a hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and perseverant in helping his clients as well as his colleagues. He will be available to assist you 7 days a week and outside the normal business hours because in home care is a 24-hour business. My Name is Tatagi Pulido. Most people call me Tita because it’s easier to pronounce. My first job was helping seniors with Long term care and estate planning. I was amazed at the stories they would tell when we had conversations. They are a part of the greatest generation and deserve our love, compassion, and respect. I am proud to be a part of this industry and will treat all, as if I would like to be treated.

Aloha! My name is Maylee Costelo. Born and raised on Oahu and have always been passionate in helping others.

One of my jobs was working with the elderly in identifying gaps in their Medicare coverage. During this process, I saw a need for care for our elders. Here I am, helping to provide caregivers for our clients. I’m so grateful to be a part of Always Best Care and be a part of a team that wants the best care for our seniors.
