JOHN S. LYBARGER, PHD, MBA, CAS
Dr. Lybarger serves his clients as a Certified Senior Advisor and Board Certified Coach. His life mission is to live meaningfully and his life vision is to help others find meaning and purpose in their life and work. John and his wife, Margie, provide non-medical in-home care services to seniors through their Always Best Care Senior Services franchise located in Broomfield. CO. They serve their senior clients in Erie, Lafayette, Northglenn, Westminster, Thornton and Broomfield.
John has had personal caregiving experience with his parents and in-laws. His father suffered from diabetes, congestive heart failure and dementia. John provided transportation assistance, meal preparation, housekeeping, companionship and medication reminding for his father until he passed away from heart failure. His father was able to remain at home with John’s mom until the end. His mother currently lives with is sister’s family. John has provide respite care, medication reminding, dressing assistance, transfer assistance, transportation and meal preparation several times throughout the past year since she fell, fractured her femur and was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer. John’s father-in-law suffered many years from Alzheimer’s disease. He and his wife Margie visited him often, provided companionship, dressing assistance, transportation, and meal preparations.
John spent the first thirty-four years of his career in progressively responsible positions in the organization/leadership development, mental health, healthcare and human services sectors in both nonprofit and profit organizations. He has held executive positions with P&L accountability for over $3.5M and span of control over geographically dispersed operations with over 75 staff. John’s leadership experience has armed him with practical business experience that keeps him focused on results-oriented, fully engaged and purposed-driven outcomes.
He earned a PhD in psychology and an MBA from California Coast University, an MS in counseling from California State University at Fullerton. Additionally, he is a: Certified Senior Advisor; Board Certified Coach in Executive/Corporate/Business/Leadership Coaching; Certified Paralegal and Certified Mediator. He is licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist (CA), and holds National Certified Counselor and Certified Addictions Specialist credentials. John co-authored Leading Forward-Successful Public Leadership Amidst Complexity, Chaos, and Change, which was published in March 2014 by Wiley/Jossey-Bass. He is a member of the Society of Certified Senior Advisors, Broomfield Chamber of Commerce, National Home Care Association of America and the Home Care Association of Colorado.
Margie Lybarger, BA, BSN, RN
Ms. Marjorie Lybarger serves her clients as a Registered Nurse and Certified Public Health Nurse.
Margie and her husband John, provide non-medical in-home care services to seniors through their Always Best Care Senior Services franchise located in Broomfield. CO. They serve their senior clients in Erie, Dacono, Lafayette, Northglenn, Westminster, Thornton and Broomfield.
Margie has extensive experience too providing home care to her family members. Her father lived many years with Alzheimer’s disease. She would visit often and provide assistance with transportation, meal preparation, dressing and medication reminding. Additionally she would provide companionship and transportation to doctor’s offices, church and social activities. Her mother currently resides in an independent living community. Margie calls her mother nearly every day, visits frequently and provides transportation assistance, companionship and emotional support.
Margie spent the first thirty-four years of her career in progressively responsible positions in the healthcare sector in both nonprofit and profit organizations. She has worked as a clinical nurse in acute care hospitals in renal care, cardiac care, and medical surgical care. Additionally she has worked a nurse case manager for eight years and clinical documentation specialist for five years.
She earned a BA in psychology and a BSN in nursing from Biola University. Additionally, she is a Certified Public Health Nurse. She is licensed to practice nursing in both California and Colorado. She is a member of the Broomfield Chamber of Commerce, National Home Care Association of America and the Home Care Association of Colorado.
Ashley Lybarger, AOS, CNA
Director of Sales and Marketing
Ms. Ashley Lybarger is our Director of Sales and Marketing. She brings over eight years experience of sales, marketing and customer service skills in the beauty industry to this position. She brings over eight years of experience in sales, marketing and customer service skills in the beauty industry to this position. Ashley has worked in day spas, laser hair removal clinics and in her own mobile skin care business.
She is a graduate of Compass Nursing Arts in Lafayette, CO where she earned her Certified Nursing Assistant credential and Heritage College where she earned an Associate of Occupational Science degree in Medical Esthetics. Additionally she has taken several courses at Front Range Community College and Phoenix University.
Ashley has personal experience too working with family members as a senior caregiver. Her paternal grandmother lives with her aunt and Ashley has helped care for her grandmother assisting with activities of daily living such as transportation, dressing, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminding and companionship. Ashley’s maternal grandfather lived in a memory care facility for several years before passing away from complications resulting from Alzheimer’s disease. She visited him often over the years and provided companionship, assistance with eating, monitoring walks and transportation.
