Always Best Care Senior Services Introduces Assisted Living Enhancements to Franchise Management System
Roseville, CA (June 17, 2011)
Always Best Care Senior Services, featured by Entrepreneur magazine as the fastest growing franchise system in the Senior Care industry, announced a new assisted living facilities enhancement to its Franchise Management System (FMS) at the company’s international conference in Delray Beach, FL.
Founded in 1996, Always Best Care began franchising in 2007, and now provides non-medical inhome care, assisted living placement services and skilled home health care through a network of more than 135 franchises throughout the country. The company has assisted more than 25,000 seniors representing a wide range of illnesses and personal needs.
There are about 33,000 assisted living facilities in the United States. Assisted living communities provide care for persons who need some help with activities of daily living, yet who wish to remain as independent as possible. These communities bridge the gap between independent living and nursing homes. Residents in assisted living communities aren’t necessarily able to live by themselves, but they don’t require constant care.
Always Best Care franchisees can now enter all the data regarding assisted living facilities in their communities into FMS, according to Michael Newman, founder and CEO of Always Best Care. There are more than 50 parameters which may be entered, and which together provide a total overview of each assisted living community in the area. Searches may then be done based on any of those 50+ parameters in order to match the features and amenities of a community to the needs of their clients. Parameters include general facility information and daily operational amenities as well as cost factors. Additionally, the FMS will accept up to ten images of each facility, and also provides a mapping function to identify the location and generate driving directions.
Always Best Care takes pride in its process of providing assisted living placement referral and consulting services, explained Mr. Newman. First, we personally visit each and every facility within the marketing are. “Then,” he said, “our Care Coordinators meet with families to establish a comprehensive understanding of the clients’ needs and desires. We then match those requirements with assisted living communities throughout the area, and provide a short-list of three to five recommended facilities. Our Care Coordinators then personally escort the family on a personal tour of each of the recommended facilities so that the client can make an informed decision on which community they choose.
“Best of all,” he added, “our services are absolutely free to clients, as we are paid by the assisted living communities themselves.
“The new FMS assisted living enhancements will make it faster and easier for our franchisees to identify which facilities most closely meet clients’ needs,” he concluded.
